These terms govern your use of Inside+. By creating an account, you agree to them.

What Inside+ is

Inside+ is an emotional journaling app with a coaching framework: a tool to help you name what you're feeling, understand it, and work through it using reflection questions and techniques grounded in real psychological research.

Inside+ is not therapy, and not a medical or diagnostic service. It doesn't replace professional mental health care. If you're in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services, not this app.

Who can use it

Your content

The entries and reflections you write are yours. We store them to provide the app's core functionality, and you can request deletion of your account and data at any time (see our Privacy Policy). We don't claim ownership over what you write.

Our content

The app's structure, the emotion word library, the reflection questions, and the techniques themselves are Inside+'s content, grounded in cited third-party research. They're provided for your personal use through the app, not for reproduction elsewhere.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and go toward developing Inside+, including native iOS and Android versions. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms; we don't handle your payment details directly. Donations are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. The service may change

Inside+ is under active development. Features, and how the app looks and works, may change over time. We'll try to communicate meaningful changes clearly. Inside+ is currently free to use; if that ever changes for any part of the app, we won't apply it retroactively to how you've already used it, and we'll tell you in advance.

No warranty, limited liability

Inside+ is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable and accurate, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. [standard limitation-of-liability clause, to be finalized with legal review]
